GACD awards research grants in implementation science that focus on improving health equity in non-communicable disease (NCD) prevention and management globally.

By funding world-class research, the GACD aims to contribute to the evidence base that helps policymakers and practitioners make informed decisions on addressing NCDs in areas around the world where the need is greatest. The ninth GACD Call Implementation research for management of multiple long-term conditions in the context of non-communicable diseases remains open through the US NIH. Find out more about the remit and how to apply.

The tenth GACD Call Strengthening Health Systems has closed. The European Commission communicated the evaluation results in February 2026. The joint-process awaits the announcement of the awards.
