A central objective for GACD is to strengthen implementation science capacity and capability in relation to non-communicable diseases, globally.
In particular, the training and capacity development of implementation researchers in low- and middle-income countries who are best placed to deliver implementation research with context-relevant, national, and international impact.
In addition to the scheduled Annual Scientific Meetings, GACD also works with its Research Network members to identify, develop, and deliver other events and capacity development activities.
