The Global Alliance for Chronic Diseases (GACD) is proud to introduce the exceptional cohort of thirty-two (32) trainees selected for the 2025 GACD Masterclass.

This distinguished group of researchers and public health professionals represent a global network committed to advancing implementation science and addressing the growing burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs).

The GACD Masterclass is an initiative to develop capacity among mid-career implementation scientists and programme implementers in the methodology and science of scaling up NCD programmes. This year’s masterclass will be delivered via Zoom and in-person at the International Centre Goa, India.

Among this year’s trainees are professionals leading innovative projects on hypertension, gestational diabetes, mental health advocacy, and indigenous health. Their work spans across academic institutions, healthcare organisations, and government agencies, reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of implementation science.

As they embark on this transformative journey, our trainees will engage in immersive training, mentorship, and collaboration, advancing their ability to implement solutions that address global health challenges and shape the future of NCD research and policy.
