A message to researchers
The pandemic of COVID-19 continues to spread across the world, bringing with it significant uncertainty. At GACD we are particularly concerned to note that those living with chronic non-communicable diseases are more vulnerable to COVID-19 and at much higher risk of severe disease.
The need for evidence-based decision making was never stronger.
To our researchers – we know that you are committed to the work of GACD and are doing everything you can to contribute to implementation science. But we also recognise that during this pandemic, other commitments may take precedence. The GACD staff team is working with our alliance funding agencies on how best to be supportive of your research plans during this period, recognising there may be unexpected impacts and delays.
