This year’s annual report reflects the GACD’s unique connections and networks. Whether it be through our Research Network or the links we have made with global policy makers that are changing health policy in low and middle-income settings.
“Whilst the GACD is known as a funding alliance, our true strength lies in what happens after the funds have been disbursed and the researchers have rolled up their sleeves to tackle the most pressing non communicable diseases (NCD) implementation research question ,“says GACD Executive Director Celina Gorre.. The expertise and connections we bring together, whether its through the GACD Research Network (now over 900 strong) or the links our work has made with global policy makers, changing health policy in low and middle-income settings across the world are outlined in this year’s report.
