RESTORE: Rehabilitation with embedded mental health and diabetes services to address multiple long-term conditions among people with tuberculosis

Zimbabwe

Background

The RESTORE project aims to reduce the impact of multiple-long-term conditions (MLTCs) on the long-term health and wellbeing of people with TB in Zimbabwe, by integrating a range of treatments for MTLCs within their 6-month TB treatment period. Usual TB care (control) will be compared to integrated MLTC/TB care (intervention) to assess whether i)the intervention improves the lives and health of people recovering from TB and ii)implementing integrated care is feasible, acceptable and scalable.
